Divemaster Program              

 

After you've completed the PADI Rescue Diver course, you're ready for Divemaster.  Divermaster training developes your leadership abilities by training you to supervise a variety of dive activities and assist Instructors with student divers

During the Divermaster class you will learn dive leadership skills through classroom sessions, conducting a simulated or actual dive program, and hands-on experience supervising and assisting divers in actual PADI programs under the supervision of an Instructor.  You will complete a series of waterskills and stamina exercises in confined and open water environments.  You will also learn to map a dive site and design an dive emergency plan.

The prerequisites for this class are; you are Rescue Diver Certified, have a minimum of twenty (20) logged dives and at least eighteen (18) years old. 

You must have a minimum of sixty logged dives to be certified as a Divemaster

Class Tuition = $450. Materials for the class cost approximately an additional $234.00.  After completion of the class you will send in a Divemaster application to PADI and be approved by the Association. The current cost of the application is $81.00

Upon completion of this course you will become a member of the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) will be considered a "PADI Dive Professional"!
