Andy & Lynn (nee Chambers) Siebert moved to Sacramento from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1991. For Lynn, a native of Sacramento, it was a homecoming. In 1992 Andy became the dive instructor for the previous owner of Scuba World Sacramento. The Sieberts purchased the business in 1996 and Andy continues to teach upper level dive classes.

Andy, having lived in Florida since 1961, started diving in the warm waters of the Caribbean and became a PADI Instructor in 1989. He worked for a local dive store and dive boat operation in Fort Lauderdale, learning the business hands-on prior to moving to Sacramento. The north coast of California was Andy’s first experience diving in cold water. In the beginning Andy was not crazy about cold water diving. He has since learned to love diving the beautiful waters of the California coast. With over 600 dives on the west coast and over 3,000 logged dives world-wide under his belt, Andy can bend your ear for hours recounting past dive adventures.

Andy is currently a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, SDI/TDI Instructor, and an SSI Dive-Con Instructor. He continues to dive on a weekly basis.

Lynn says if she could figure out a way to feed Andy under water he would live in the ocean! With that kind of enthusiasm for the underwater world it is no wonder the owners of Scuba World Sacramento naturally generate in everyone they meet that same sense of exhilaration and joy they experience from diving the oceans of the world. Andy and Lynn are truly living their dream!
