We enter the country in Port Moreseby, PNG and take a flight to Alotau to board Mike Ball's very high-end luxury dive yacht the Paradise Sport for a week of superb diving in Milne Bay. After our week of diving, we fly to Tari in the Southern Highland tropical jungle at 9,000 ft.  We will stay 3 nights at the exotic, breathtakingly beautiful Ambua Lodge where we will experience a thriving civilization time has forgotten.  From Tari, we fly b ack down to the capitol city and home.

It's geographical features include rugged mountain ranges, rainforests, and beautiful coastal plains.

There are 10,000 tribes speaking 780 languages scattered throughout the rugged terrain of PNG. Many of the people saw their first white man only 50 years ago. The amazing traditions of these people include: carvings, making pottery, painting masks, or decorating their bodies with colorful paint. Our land tours will be an incredible event to view and photograph the many different people and their villages.

In the Southern Highlands we will visit the villages of the Huli Wigman while staying at the beautiful Ambua Lodge. End your land adventures with the magnificent Birds Of Paradise and the vine bridges and waterfalls.

From the smallest of creatures to large schools of fish, Papua New Guinea will dazzle and intrigue even the most experienced diver. In spite of being at the edge of the earth, the dive operator "Paradise Sport" is surprisingly sophisticated in terms of knowing what American divers want.

* Please note that TIPS, fuel surcharges, departure taxes and possible visa fees are not included in the SWS package price.  At a later date, round-trip flights with-in PNG from Port Morseby to Alotau and to Tari in the Highlands will be added to the package price.  If there is enough demand to organize international round-trip group airfare and transite hotel stays, SWS may add that expense to the cost of the package.

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT INFORMATION:

$1,000 CASH OR CHECK DEPOSIT TO SCUBA WORLD SACRAMENTO RESERVES YOUR SPACE.  PAYMENT PLANS WELCOME.  INCREMENTAL PAYMENT DATES WILL BE SET UP BEGINNING JANUARY, 2007.  FINAL PAYMENT DUE OCTOBER 2, 2007.

SWS charges $150 administation fee if you cancel for any reason.  We make every effort to find a replacement for your cancelled space, making it possible to return your deposit.  If no replacement is found, deposits are non-refundable.
